Mt. Diablo Run - North Gate Entrance

I haven't run up Diablo for almost a year. Friday, June 8, I ran up past the 1000 feet elevation sign. I then ran back down the mountain. I wanted to go all the way to the top but two major things prevented me from accomplishing this task:

1. It was getting late and the sun was starting to set.

2. SF Marathon is a month away. I need to keep my overall biomechanics in check. I do not want to hurt my iliotibial band like I did last year when I ran up to the summit of Mount Diablo.

Nevertheless, it was a peaceful and scenic run.
